Small Business Contracting Update & 2021 Predictions

November 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

$10.00

Speaker:  Steven Koprince, Esq.

Synopsis: For small business contractors, and larger businesses working with those contractors, Fiscal Year 2020 has brought many major changes–and many more are on the horizon in FY 2021. Government contracts attorney Steven Koprince, the founder of a law firm focusing on assisting small- and mid-size government contractors and the SmallGovCon blog, has closely studied these changes.

In this session, Koprince covers recent developments related to small businesses in government contracting, including an overhaul of the HUBZone program rules, new certification requirements for women-owned small businesses, changes to the 8(a) Program’s eligibility requirements, and much more. Koprince then pulls out his crystal ball, and predicts major changes in FY 2021, such as the limitations on subcontracting, debriefing requirements, and other pending cases with the FAR Council.
